What is the minimum number of guests for a group retreat?

Group retreats have a minimum of 12 people, or 15 people if you opt out of our standard full catered meal plan.

What ammenities does your venue offer?

Both the second and third floors have common spaces which are great for breakout groups or cozy conversations.  

The great room at Nine Mountain is a versatile space that can easily be rearranged to accommodate movement practices such as yoga or dance. 

We have a huge deck with comfortable chairs for enjoying the outdoors.  It is also graced with a six-person hot tub that is available year-round. 

If you choose, we can set up tables on the deck for outdoor dining. There is also a large gas grill for cook out options.

When available, the sauna at Earthdance can be used for $5/person. 

 

Do your private rooms have en suite bathrooms?

Our 3 private rooms do not have en suite bathrooms. There are 3 shared full bathrooms in the house, one on each floor.

Can we have a bon fire?

We have two fire circles, and firewood is available for a small fee upon request.

How many people can stay at your venue?

We have beds for up to 25 people in a mix of private and shared rooms. There are three private rooms each with a queen-sized bed, and three spacious dorm (or shared) rooms for a total of 21 beds. There are an additional 2 rollaway beds that can be added for a maximum of 27 occupants.

Are meals included?

We offer a flexible meal plan of full or self-catering. We take pride in the quality of the meals we serve as we believe beautiful, delicious food is important to your experience.   We can meet most dietary requirements and ask that you provide us with a list of your group’s dietary needs and your mealtime schedule at least five days before your retreat. We do not offer alcohol, but you are welcome to bring your own. 

Do you have yoga mats/back jacks?

Yes. Yoga mats, yoga blocks and back jacks are available for our guests.

Is there hiking/swimming available?

Nine Mountain is situated on forty-five acres of beautiful forest. We invite you to explore the hiking trails we share with our neighbor, Earthdance. There is a good-sized swimming pond with a sandy beach just four miles away. 

Do I need to bring my own sheets/towels?

We provide all linens and towels for your stay, and stock the bathrooms with body wash and shampoo. Should someone forget other toiletries like toothbrushes or razors, we keep extras in stock.
