Nine Mountain hosts community gatherings year-round. Check back here and on our blog for information about community events.
We host community events that inspire us to share our unique gifts and callings.
We seek to inspire our community to also share their gifts and callings for our collective empowerment and greater regenerativity.
We share our local resources in celebration!
Examples of events we’ve had include . . .
The Magic of Embodiment ~ Winter & Spring 2015 ~ Christine Cole, local Body Mind Centering teacher and founder of the Somatic Body school shared her embodiment material with local friends in our Great Room.
House Concerts ~ April 2015 ~ Local activist band Ashes to Ashes from Children of the Wild that trains out of Double Edge Theater in Ashfield, less than 10 miles away shared their mission and raised the energy to inspire our engagement in the local anti-pipeline movement.
Pipeline Pilgrimage ~ April 2015 ~ Quaker friends from the New England Young Adult Friends Climate Working Group came to stay with us for a night on their walking pilgrimage along the route of the proposed Kinder-Morgan methane pipeline in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, the route of which is about a 20 minute walk from our land.
Summer Soirees ~ June 2015 ~ Three elegant and relaxed Wednesday evenings where we served gourmet four course meals of either German, French or Moroccan flavor with local musicians providing eclectic entertainment and art curated throughout the house from local community artists.
EARTHMOUNTAIN Advanced Hanging Out Weekends ~ Winter 2016 and on ~ Relaxed loosely structured weekends of exploring being in community with our own creative intentions and moving in and out of collaboration for our collective enjoyment and support.
We are open to receiving suggestions and helping to produce future events. If you have an idea or offering for a local community event please be in touch with Kelly by emailing her at robyn@ninemountain.com.
